Victualling Section

The Victualling Section helps the user to manage the victualling stock onboard his vessel and to maintain the inventory.


Following shows how to keep the stock updated:

  1. The Master or the Chief Steward/Cook adds all purchases by using the Victualling Purchase function
  2. The Master or the Chief Steward/Cook maintains the victualling stock by using the "Victualling Inventory" function. The stock and validated stock taking should always be fully updated before any change
  3. The food days are automatically calculated for the crew and passengers signed on in the system. Any additional meals served onboard are added using the Victualling Food Days function

Victualling Inventory

The Victualling stock is maintained per stock article. The price per item is fixed and made up as a standard price.

Purchase of additional stock is reported in the Purchase section within the Victualling Section.

The Purchase - Details

are shown in a separate window where following fields which must be filled in:

Date, Port, Name of Supplier, Local currency, Local amount, Exchange Rate and Remarks.

Food days for the signed on crew, repair teams and passengers/relatives are automatically calculated by SEAMANAGER.
